4. Can others read my data? What about confidentiality?
When you sign up for The Dental Survey , either online or by phone, you will create a Username and Password. You may keep or change your Password at your convenience. You will also be assigned a unique User Identification code that will be your number for survey results. You alone, will know who you are when the survey results are sent to you via email or when you access The Dental Survey with your personal Username and Password. The only other person(s) who may have access to your account besides you are individuals you choose to share your Username and Password with, i.e. staff member, consultant, accountant etc.

5. How much does The Dental Survey cost? How do I sign up?
Once I sign up, how long does it take get going?

The Dental Survey is an affordable $1,285 per year. The annual fee is based on a calendar year and is not prorated based on the enrollment date.

6. What if I sign up part way through a year?
If you sign up for The Dental Survey part way through the year you will be able to input your information year-to-date and then track, monitor and compare your entire quarter and year just as a Dentist who signed up at the beginning of the year.

7. When does my data need to be entered?
Your data can be entered daily, monthly or at the end of each quarter. Reporting is on a quarterly basis for regional and national comparison. If you have not entered your information by quarter end you will receive a friendly reminder by e-mail that your information is requested by a certain date. We recommend you enter the data on a daily or monthly basis for best follow through.

8. Can I have a staff member enter my data?
Yes, you have the ability to allow a staff member to enter the data for you. We recommend that your staff member enter the information on a daily or monthly basis. Your overhead information may need to be entered by you personally, or given to your staff member for entry once you receive it from your accountant/bookkeeper.

9. What reports and comparisons are available?
Comprehensive quarterly, year-to-date and annual comparative reports are provided to you by The Dental Survey . The reports include key ratio calculations like: collection rate, A/R to production ratio and case acceptance rate. In addition, cost and production calculations include:

• overhead margin

• production per chairside hour
